Blanketing Pressure Regulator reduces the available gas pressure to a very low blanketing pressure. Generally, Nitrogen is fed to the pressure regulator from the N2 generation plant. It is recommended to install the Regulator on top of the container as it is designed to respond to very low pressure. The Blanketing Regulator is a downstream pressure regulator meant for reducing the inlet pressure to the required blanketing pressure and maintain the same inside the container. When the pressure inside the container drops below the set pressure the Regulator opens and allows entry of Nitrogen in the container affecting rise in dropped pressure. As soon as the pressure inside the container is made up and reaches to its set pressure the Regulator closes and stops the flow of Nitrogen in the tank. A regulator is installed to introduce blanket gas inside the tank. When the pressure inside the container drops below a set point, a regulator opens and allows the blanketing gas to enter in the container. Once blanketing or padding pressure is maintained, regulator closes and entry of blanket gas is stopped. As an over pressure protection there has to be a device to relieve excess pressure inside the container in case of over pressurization. Similarly, evacuation may happen in the closed loop tank due to process faults or utility failure and a protection against possible evacuation or negative pressure is also anticipated.

The IVGTC range of gate valves incorporates state of the art design features to provide a rugged construction, reliable operation and long life. Suitable for the just benign to most belligerent applications covering all the process industries including oil gas, refineries, petrochemicals, fertilizers, power plants and common utilities. An ideal valve for the flow isolation and ON/OFF duty. The high pressure range incorporates a pressure sealed bonnet design for reliable sealing. The valves are available in flanged or butt welded end connection. Valves can be provided with special features like water sealed gland for vacuum service, bypass arrangements for pressure balancing, special cleaning for oxygen service, multi start spindle for low effort operation, extended spindle for pit mounted / buried service, NACE compliant materials for sour service in petroleum industries, etc. The valves can be provided with motor operation wherever required.
